For the sixth year in a row, Missouri Military Academy (MMA) has ranked as a 2026 Best School in Niche.com’s annual list, according to an MMA news release.
The release stated that Niche’s uses rankings based on dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews, creating profiles for schools and universities across the U.S. and assigning each institution an overall grade based on the collected data. MMA earned an A+ in the 2026 Niche ranking and was named the #2 Best All-Boys High School in Missouri.
“This recognition reflects the extraordinary work of our cadets, faculty, and staff,” said MMA President Brigadier General Richard V. Geraci, USA (Ret), in the release. “At MMA, we hold ourselves to a very high standard — developing young men who are prepared to take command of their futures. To be named among the very best validates the strength of our mission and the impact of our partnership with families to help our cadets reach their full potential.”
Each year, Niche compares the best private schools in America based on key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education and millions of reviews, the release stated. MMA’s Niche grade specifically gives the private military boarding school top marks for its academics, instructors, clubs and activities, diversity and college preparation for its all-boys corps of cadets.
In addition to their rankings, Niche provides a medium for parent reviews to help prospective families evaluate schools for their sons. Recent feedback provided by MMA parents on Niche.com highlights the Academy’s leadership and commitment to helping cadets reach their full potential, with such comments as: “(MMA) has hands down been the best experience for our son … Since starting the school year, he’s been actually excited about doing well … This level of support and commitment to our son is something we were lacking. I am so thankful we found MMA. It has been the best decision we could’ve made to set our son up for his future.”
