Missouri Military Academy soccer will play in its first district championship game since 2018. The Colonels' Class 1 District 4 semifinal game with Fatima (8-17) was tied at 1 until the 74th minute, when Jose Orozco capitalized on a penalty kick and then, minutes later, Avin Hernandez put in a rebound goal from a penalty kick he just barely missed for a 3-1 MMA victory. MMA (13-6) had took nine shots after being limited to three and allowing nine in the first half.
The Colonels, who are ranked ninth in Class 1, faces Father Tolton (13-9), who is ranked sixth in Class 1, at 6 p.m. Monday in Westphalia.
