A Jefferson City man suffered serious injuries after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening at Highway K at Audrain County Road 565.
The man, 30, was transported to University Hospital by Audrain County EMS. The wreck occurred at 5:18 p.m.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report stated that a 20-year-old Vandalia man, who was driving a 2007 Freightliner MC 112, failed to yield at a stop sign. The Vandalia man crossed the roadway and struck the side of the Jefferson City man, who was driving a 2025 Kawasaki Vulcan. The Kawasaki overturned and travelled under the Freightliner.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage and the driver of the Freightliner was not injured.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of the occupants involved in injury crashes.
