Mexico Public Safety Department officials seek the public’s information on an attempted break-in of a business Sunday.
MPSD officials said just before 6:10 a.m. that personnel responded to the 100 block of South Jefferson in reference to an alarm, according to a news release from MPSD. Responding personnel found that someone attempted to break into a business but was unable to get in. The suspect damaged the building during the break-in attempt, and then fled the scene prior to officer arrival.
“Information from alert residents indicated the suspect is a white male who ran from the scene in a northwesterly direction,” the release stated.
