North Callaway hosted its second and final track and field meet of the season on Wednesday.
Mexico, Community R-6 and Van-Far were also in the seven-school field in Kingdom City. The top four medaled in individual events and the top two relay teams earned medals.
The Mexico boys winners include Davontae Frame in the 400 with a time of 55.00, Andrew Peuster in the 1600 with a time of 4:54.15, Kyle Lewis in the 3200 with a time of 12:17.62, and the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams with respective times of 45.33, 1:37.67 and 3:53.53. The girls winners included Maggie Ramsey in the 800 and 1600 with respective times of 2:37.63 and 5:45.82, Emma Seibert in the 300 hurdles with a time of 51.76 and Alexandra Terry in the pole vault with a mark of 2.75 meters. Other Mexico boys medalists include Ahmad Alverez in second for the 100, Potter in second for the 200, Kalvin Smith in third for the 200, Landon Higgins in second for the 800, Darwin Mena Lopez in third for the 800, Bickell in second for the 1600, Israel Hernandez in second for the 3200, Braiden Bock in second for the 300 hurdles, Damarion Williams in second for the high jump, Jacob Quinlan in third for the triple jump, Marshall Ball in second for the pole vault, Taz Norton in fourth for the pole vault and Marcos Matuz in fourth for the discus. The girls medalists included the 4x400 relay in second.
The Community R-6 girls medalists at North Callaway for the top four individually and top three relays were Adriana Woodson in fourth for the 100 hurdles, Lydia Hoyt in third for the long jump, Kate Robnett in fourth for the long jump and Chloe Johnson in second for the javelin. The boys medalists included Nicholas Henke in fourth for the 200, Colton Peak in fourth for the 400, Clayton Crum in fourth for the 3200, Layton Wright in third for the 300 hurdles, Drake Welch in third for the discus and shot put and fourth for the javelin and Rett Curtis in second for the shot put.
The Van-Far winners include Slade Keller in the boys 800 with a time of 2:18.41, Evan Utterback in the boys javelin with a throw of 12.45 meters and the girls 4x100 relay team won its event. The boys medalists include Kashton Rhodes in fourth for the 100, Haden Lynn in third for the 400, the 4x200 relay in second, Keller in third for the pole vault, Jackson Fischer in second for the discus and Utterback in second for the javelin. The girls medalists include Ashlyn Marshall in third for the 100, Georgia Foster in fourth for the 200, Emily Smith in third for the 400, Khloe Wallace in second for the 1600, Erin Childs in fourth for the 300 hurdles, the 4x200 relay in second and Kaitlynn Caldwell in fourth for the shot put.
North Callaway took some time during the night to honor its seniors John Higgins, Christian Moore, Casper Safranski, Lia Bondurant, Bailey Hill, Amelia Rohrbach, Abby Schmidt and Cora Tripp.
The North Callaway winners included Tripp in the girls 100 hurdles with a time of 18.44, Bondurant in the girls high jump with a mark of 1.42 meters, Schmidt won the girls shot put with a throw of 8.79 meters, Iceonna Tomlinson in the girls javelin with a throw of 25.27 meters, Cade Miller in the boys 100 and 200 with respective times of 12.01 and 24.24 and Anden Lobb in the boys pole vault with a mark of 2.6 meters. The other boys medalists were Emerson Reinhard in fourth for the 1600, the 4x100 relay in second, Collin Moore in fourth for the long jump and Alex Hudnell in fourth for the shot put. The girls medalists included Grace Rasmussen in second for the 400 and third in the 1600, Alex Craighead in second for the 300 hurdles, second in the high jump, third for the 100 hurdles and third in the javelin, Calla Tripp in third for the 300 hurdles, the 4x100 relay in second, Lexi Angeles in second for the long jump, Jocelyn Siegel in second for the triple jump, Anna Shryock in fourth for the triple jump, Madyson Gordon in second for the pole vault, Megan Schmidt in third for the pole vault, Kierstyn O’Neal in third for the discus and Hill in second for the shot put.
