PJ Perkins is going to the next level.
The Mexico boys basketball senior that has been twice all-conference, twice MSHSAA all-district and twice KMZU Dream Team and once NEMO media all-district signed to play basketball for Central Methodist University in Fayette during a ceremony Monday at the Mexico Sports Complex. Perkins averaged 12.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 56 percent shooting in his senior campaign that had the Bulldogs finish 23-7 for their third state quarterfinal season with 20 wins in the past four years. Perkins plans to study exercise science.
