Hannah Loyd caught her dream on Wednesday.
The Mexico senior catcher signed to play softball at Pittsburg State University in Kansas during a ceremony in Gary Filbert Gym at Mexico High School. Loyd finished a senior campaign that involved a career-high 10 home runs and 18 caught stealing and 3 pickoffs behind the plate. She was named Class 3 all-state, all-North Central Missouri Conference, first team Class 3 District 4 and first team Class 3 region 2.
