After returning to school, the Lady Bulldogs returned to their rivalry with North Central Missouri Conference rival Fulton on Tuesday.
Mexico won 74-41 on the road to pick up a conference and Class 4 District 8 win after dominating on defense with 25 steals (unofficial stat). The Lady Bulldogs (6-7, 3-1 NCMC) defeated Fulton 61-25 earlier in the season at the Montgomery County tournament but had plenty of defense add to a season-high on the offensive end. Grace Hudson led with a career-high 31 points and had eight steals and five assists, Alyssa Miller followed with 16 points and seven rebounds, Scottie Smith had 14 points and 10 steals, and Charleigh Douglas finished with nine points and five assists. Ali Skinner led Fulton (1-7, 0-3 NCMC) with 28 points and four 3-pointers.
