Merry Mainstreet Christmas, Mexico.
The streets were packed Saturday morning as residents flocked to the square for a timeless tradition — the annual holiday parade. As children eagerly swiped candy along the parade route, holiday-themed floats, led by the Mexico High School Marching Band, made their way through downtown. Santa was even spotted catching a ride with the Little Dixie Fire Department this year.
With approximatly 30 participants, parade judges had some tough decisions to make. Best in Show, and the winner of the traveling trophy, was awarded to the City of Mexico for its festive recreation of the city square. Second place was awarded to Just as I am Cowboy Church and third place went to Bucky's Sit of Get.
