Missouri Military Academy soccer couldn't beat Moberly a second time on Saturday.
In the Class 2 District 4 tournament in Moberly, MMA lost 3-1 to Moberly (17-9) to bring its final record to 10-8. After taking a 1-0 halftime lead on Emilio Perez's goal off an assist from Emiliano De La Garza, Moberly scored three goals in the second half -- one via penalty kick by Gabe Runde, one a header from Jax White and one on a long kick by Lane Longbine. MMA was playing without two of its captains Fernando Puebla (leading scorer) and Mateo Eaton.
