For the second straight game, the Centralia boys lost a heartbreaker at the end at home.
Three days after Moberly hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat Centralia 52-49, Bowling Green's Ryan Hall swished a shot while falling down after driving to the rim to beat the Panthers 58-57 on Monday. Prior to that play, Cal Romine banked in a go-ahead bucket for Centralia (5-6). Anthony Ford led Centralia with 16 points, 11 rebounds and four steals, Ethan Ross followed with 14 points, Luke Waltemate finished with seven points, and Clayton Moore added six points. Hall had 36 points, four 3-pointers and four steals for Bowling Green (9-2), and Brendan Scherder finished with 13 points and five steals.
Centralia hosts Harrisburg (2-6) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
