Hawthorne Elementary students gathered in the gymnasium in their most festive pajamas on Dec. 19 for "Sing Around the Tree." Students eagerly awaited the arival of special guests Santa and Mrs. Claus while spreading a little holiday cheer through sing-alongs led by their teachers and Hawthorne staff in the gymnasium. It was the final celebration before winter break so there was no shortage of excitement.
