William Hernandez-Sampayo and Miah Sprock were presented the 87th annual Wise Courtesy award. The award was established by the late Mrs. F.M. Wise, who specified that the cash awards be presented to the most courteous senior boy and senior girl during the annual Holiday Assembly.

The first recipient is William Hernandez-Sampayo. William is the son of Francisco Hernandez and Reyna Vergara. During his four years at Mexico High School, he has been active in soccer and is a member of the National Honor Society. His interests include playing video games and watching YouTube. Following graduation, William plans to major in Biology in preparation for medical school, where he intends to become an internal medicine or family medicine doctor, with a potential specialization in cardiology.

The second recipient is Miah Sprock. Miah is the daughter of Corey and Bobbie Jo Sprock. Her activities at MHS include Chamber Choir, Noteworthy, Key Club, the National Honor Society, and the National Technical Honor Society. She also serves as the FFA Chapter President. Miah plans to attend William Woods University next year to major in Elementary Education.
