Thunderbird turnovers turn into 55-41 home loss to South Callaway

The North Callaway boys' mistakes on Thursday night cost them.

The Thunderbirds lost 55-41 to county rival South Callaway (11-11) at home after committing a season-high 30 turnovers. North Callaway (9-13) loses to South Callaway for the second time this season and was led by Jamarion Glover's eight points and 10 rebounds rebounds. Zac Craghead followed with six points, and Caleb Sheets had five points. The Bulldogs were 16-for-28 at the free-throw line and were led by Colten Crocker's 19 points. Tucker Jones had 15 points and five steals, and Graden Pontius finished with 10 points and eight rebounds.

North Callaway (4-3 EMO) will have an Eastern Missouri Conference and district road game around 7 p.m. on Saturday night at around 7 p.m., which will be against Class 3 No. 2 Montgomery County (22-1, 7-0 EMO).
