Community R-6 basketball provided for the fans before the season's opening tipoff yet again.
In this year's edition of the FanFest on Nov. 6 at Community R-6 High School in Laddonia. The community could enjoy a free carnival and an auction but primarily saw the Lady Trojans and Trojans in action. The girls and boys played intrasquad scrimmages and participated in a 3-point contest and jam session to get creative with their dunking. Kat Meyer won the girls division of the 3-point contest while Brett Beamer won on the boys side. Beamer beat Meyer by one 3-pointer to take the overall title.
The Lady Trojans play intersquad scrimmages before the regular season in a jamboree on Nov. 20 in Silex while the Trojans do the same in a jamboree the previous night in Wright City.
