Van-Far football has been dealing with a shortage of players over the last few years and hopes its roster in the mid-20s, according to head coach Lucas Gibson, this year will take the Indians to the end of the season. The Indians broke a losing streak last season but weren't able to play their district playoff game due to injuries depleting the roster. After a preseason jamboree on Aug. 25 at Monroe City, the season begins for Van-Far on Aug. 25 as its breaks in its home field in its second season against South Callaway, following with another home game the next Friday against Russellville.
