Van-Far scored early and often on Saturday.
The Indians beat Paris 11-0 in five innings and then Missouri Military Academy 18-2 in three innings to win the MMA Baseball Classic on Saturday on Brad Calvert Field in Mexico. Paris defeated MMA 15-0 in three innings in the first game of the day. Reece Culwell struck out six in four innings against Paris and one of those punchouts was his 200th career strikeout and had an RBI triple as well. Tyson Douglas went 3-for-4 with three RBI, a triple and a double, Carson Huff had three RBI, and Malik Douglas went 2-for-3 with three runs, two stolen bases and an RBI. Against MMA, Culwell went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double, Gibson Condie went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two doubles, Easton Sharp finished 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI, and Gaven Gaston went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
Evan Corley had a RBI double for MMA against Van-Far, and Blake Krull scored on a passed ball.
Elijah Reynolds pitched all three shutout innings for Paris against MMA.
