Posted

One of the best to ever wrestle for Mexico will be going to college.

Grant Van Horn signed to wrestle for University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg in a ceremony on Monday in the Mexico Sports Complex. Van Horn finished his senior campaign as the Class 2 175-pound state champion and as the co-record holder for all-time wins along with Terresa Aaron at 178. He was also the district wrestler of the year and is a four-time state medalist. For his first-place state medal, Van Horn took time after his signing ceremony to put his picture up on the wall of Mexico's wrestling room alongside the program's other state champions.
