In the first meeting outside the disbanded North Central Missouri Conference, the Mexico Bulldogs came back to defeat Fulton 26-19 in Mexico on Sept. 4.
Mexico trailed 13-6 at halftime and didn't take its first lead until James Matthews returned a kick for about 90 yards and then a Connor Fisher 2-point run made it 20-19 with about eight minutes left. Kyler Benne and D'Naz Smith had rushing touchdowns, and Benne had a game-clinching interception in the end zone in the final seconds.
