Virginia Carol Bradley, 85, of Auxvasse passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 at her home.

Carol was born Feb. 17, 1935 in Mexico, the daughter of John Jesse and Naomi Nelda (Smith) Pulis. She married James R. Bradley on Feb. 14, 1954 in Mexico. He passed away on April 26, 2005.

Mrs. Bradley was a member of Grand Prairie Baptist Church and later attended several area churches. Carol retired from the Auxvasse Post Office after 22 years. She was the youngest of 10 children. Carol enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, sudoku and reading. She was excellent at cooking, baking, and sewing. Carol loved family gatherings and time with friends.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Connie (Kirk) Lawson of Auxvasse, and Laura Nell (Ron) Kennon of Fulton; son, Danny (Alice) Bradley of Auxvasse; 10 grandchildren, Angela (Todd) Kemp, Joy (David) Shawley, Christa (Eric) Edwards, Heather (Toby) Barnes, Dustin Lehenbauer (Sierra Westphal), Bradley (Sarah) Kennon, Tori (Paul) Winkler, Jonathan (Kayla) Bradley, Amanda (Brett) King, and Benjamin Bradley; 16 great-grandchildren, Adam Daro, Kelsey Shawley, Courtney Kemp, Brooklynn Daro, Jacob Shawley, Dane Kemp, Taylor Shawley, Preston Barnes, Melody Lehenbauer, T.J. Winkler, Eli Kennon, Mason Winkler, Vivian Kennon, Henry Lehenbauer, Noah Bradley, and MapleMae Lehenbauer; two sisters-in-law, Rose Pulis and Motie Bradley; one brother-in-law, Jack Bradley; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Bradley; parents, John Jesse and Naomi Nelda Pulis; daughter Barbara Carol Griffith; great-grandson, Oren Lehenbauer; seven sisters, Vivian Gipson, Velma Bradley, Hazel Kable, Colleen Campbell, Nelda Monk, Rosalind Haverstick and Lila White; two brothers, Jimmy Pulis and Dale Pulis.

Services were held Dec. 13, at Arnold’s Funeral Home with Brother Nick Drake officiating. Burial was in Auxvasse Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dustin Lehenbauer, Bradley Kennon, Jonathan Bradley, Benjamin Bradley, Todd Kemp, and David Shawley

Honorary pallbearers were Toby Barnes, Donald Kable, Bruce Campbell, Kim Haverstick, Steve White, Barry White, Kirk Lawson, Ron Kennon, Jeff Bradley, Tom Maxwell, Scott Whalen, and Dale Bradley.
