Alan Dale Bridgford, 85, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at University Hospital.
Funeral Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, at Arnold Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Guile officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Dale was born on March 31, 1937, in Monroe County, the son of Ralph and Minnie Belle Bridgford.
He was a 1955 graduate of Paris High School. Dale was a Mason and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
Dale was an avid fisherman and enjoyed turkey hunting and being outdoors. He loved watching Cardinals baseball.
He is survived by two children, Chris (Lisa) Bridgford of Argyle, Texas and Sandie Bridgford of Jollyville, Texas; four grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Bridgford, Hailey, Chase and Nicholas Bridgford; two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Carter Bridgford; five siblings, Juanita Willingham of Santa Fe, Barbara Fisher of Mexico, Maud Fisher of Mexico, Jim Bridgford of Mexico and Margaret Thomas of Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews along with great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Minnie Belle Bridgford; four brothers-in-law, Mike Willingham, Marvin Fisher, Charles Fisher and Ron Thomas; and sister-in-law, Margie Bridgford.
