Allie was born on Aug. 29, 1937 in Mexico, the daughter of Hugh and Waunetta (Brooks) Towson. On June 15, 1960, in Mexico, she married Robert F. Schrader, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Schrader loved to sew and could sew anything. She worked in the fabric department at Walmart and was affectionately known as “the fabric lady”. She had such a passion for fabric and sewing that she owned a yard of every fabric style that Walmart sold. This included an extensive collection of holiday print fabric. She was so committed to style that she ironed Robert’s jeans each morning before he went to the field! Allie loved her grandchildren. She spent many enjoyable moments watching them participate in athletic events. She was a good Christian woman.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynn (Doug) Turner of Paris and two grandsons, Paul Turner of Paris and Jon (Marina) Turner of Jefferson City.
Mrs. Schrader was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schrader; parents, Hugh and Waunetta Towson, and one brother Edward Bevans.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Monroe Manor Activities Department. Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
