Middletown youth injured
A 5-year-old Middletown male sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 on private property at 44707 Audrain Road 626.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the eastbound 2019 Coolster ATV, driven by the 5-year-old, struck a utility pole. He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital, Columbia.
Centralia resident injured
A 16-year-old male sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13 on Route CC at Dinwiddie School Road, Boone County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred as the northbound 2002 Dodge Intrepid, driven by the 16-year-old, traveled east on Route CC, west of Dinwiddie School Road. The driver was traveling too fast for conditions and failed to navigate a curve. Damage occurred as the vehicle crossed into the westbound lane of Route CC, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a stop sign and came to a rest on Dinnwiddie School Road. The vehicle became fully engulfed after the driver exited.
The driver was taken by private conveyance to University of Missouri Hospital.
