Audrain County, in partnership with Fidlar Technologies has brought an unrivaled level ease-of-use to citizens who are filing for a marriage license application. With the updated technology APEX provides, county residents can now complete a marriage application online from the comfort of their own home, utilizing APEX’s modern web portal. 

Once the online application is complete, applicants will then both need to go to the Audrain County Courthouse no later than 4 p.m. to finish the process and bring $57 in cash, along with their photo ID for verification and any other documents needed as outlined in the online requirement section. The couples will then be given instructions for the person performing the wedding and instructions on changing their last name if they so desire. 

This all comes after the Audrain County Recorder’s Office went Live with Fidlar’s AVID land records software and the implementation of official records online, which grants constituents to request and pay for certified copies of their marriage license without coming into the office.

“We here at Audrain County Recorder’s Office are very excited to offer this new option to our constituents,” said a county spokesperson.
