Over eight thousand dollars was raised during the 11th annual Audrain Humane Society trivia night held at the Audrain County 4H Center on Saturday, March 4.
Twenty seven teams and almost two hundred people participated. Audrain Humane Society board president Marilyn Niekamp says it was the second best night for money raised since the history night started eleven years ago.
The money raised goes to the Audrain Humane Society who pays thirty five thousand to forty thousand dollars every year to the Mexico Animal Shelter to have all unaltered animals to be spay and neutered so they can be adopted.
It's raining cats and dogs won the most decorative table and Colley Dogs was the winning trivia night team.
