The Audrain County Humane Society (AHS) has started its fall fundraising campaign that includes a Lady and the Tramp evening of diamonds, champagne, and spaghetti.

The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28, at The Ballroom at Homestead Hearth located at 105 North Coal Street in Mexico and will begin at 6 p.m. with a social cash bar followed by a lasagna or meatless spaghetti dinner. A champagne glass with or without champagne can be purchased for $20 for a chance to win a .25-carat diamond from Melody’s Fine Jewelry. The cost of the dinner is $30 per person.

Reservations and payment must be made by Oct. 14 and can be mailed to AHS P.O. Box 603 Mexico, MO, 65265. Call or text 573-473-6717 with any questions.

AHS is currently selling raffle tickets to win a 35-inch German Shepard concrete statue for $5 each. The tickets can be purchased at Callaway Fields’ front counter at 1201 South Elmwood in Mexico. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 573-473-7087. The winner will be drawn on Oct. 9.

AHS is also looking for folks interested in annual sponsorships. The sponsorships include a monthly email and an invitation to the group’s monthly meeting. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 5:50 p.m. There are three levels of sponsorship: Silver - $25, Golden - $75, and Platinum - $125. Each level comes with AHS swag including a sticker for the Silver level, a sticker and T-Shirt for the Golden level, and both of those goodies and a snap-it keychain for Platinum members.
