Rachel Eldridge has been named to the Bank of Missouri branch in Mexico as mortgage loan officer.
“I love helping people achieve their financial dreams,” Eldridge said. “Whether it’s a first time home buyer, a renovation project or building a forever home, seeing people succeed is an enjoyable experience.”
A Mexico native, Eldridge explains that the advantage of using a community bank, such as The Bank of Missouri, is the personalized approach each customer receives, as well as the knowledge that the bank reinvests in the local community.
“Living my entire life in a rural community, I’ve learned to recognize businesses that truly care and want the best for their customers,” she said. “I’ve joined a team that is dedicated to making an impact and helping others live well through banking well.”
One way Eldridge and her coworkers help their community is by being available when financial assistance is needed. Eldridge said her best advice to homeowners is to know your credit score, know your budget and be adaptable.
“Regardless of your stage in life, all home-buyers should be prepared in these three areas,” she said.
Knowing your credit allows you to put yourself in the best position possible for loan opportunities. Setting a budget allows you to know what you can afford and go into a transaction with eyes wide open about what you want to achieve. Being adaptable allows homebuyers to overcome obstacles that can arise throughout the process.
“Mortgage lending can be tricky, but with proper guidance and hard work, your goals can become a reality,” Eldridge said, adding she looks forward to serving her community in this new role.
