The Mexico football team opened up fall practices on Monday following a dead week. Prior to that, the Bulldogs stayed busy during the summer as they were able to run several practices per week, do some work in the weight room, participate in seven-on-seven drills and play in a scrimmage event at Quincy University. Mexico opens their season on Aug. 25 at Centralia. Look for more football practice photos on the Ledger website and expect some for North Callaway and Van-Far in the Saturday edition.
