Carl E. Bedford, 68, Columbia, passed away on June 27, 2023, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born September 5, 1954, to the late Carl Bedford Sr. and the late Betty (Noble) Bedford.
Carl and Karen (Overkamp) Bedford were united in marriage on February 9, 1991. She survives his passing.
Carl was a Brickmason for 40 years and a Masonry contractor for twenty of those years. He enjoyed traveling and playing cards. However, his most beloved times were those spent with family and friends. Carl was an active member of Auxvasse Christian Church.
In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by sons, Justin Bedford (Jessica), Charley Bedford (Ellen), and Gabe Bedford all of Columbia; daughters, Dianna Sinden (Chuck) of Jadwin, Mo, Jessica Bedford of Columbia; brothers, Larry Bedford of Lake Ozark, Gary Bedford of Branson; grandchildren, Devin, Joseph, Lydia, Aidan, Mason, Audrey, Sydney, McKenna, and Sawyer; great-grandchildren, Liam, Luke and Adrianna.
Carl was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Bedford.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday July 8th, 2023, at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Heather Patton officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be held at the Auxvasse Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Columbia Parkinson’s Support Group, c/o of Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251.
