Mexico residents celebrated the Fourth of July with fireworks displays at Optimist Park on July 4 and near Tyronn Lue Park on July 5.
Some people gathered early to eat, relax and play games both nights. Some people watching the Tyronn Lue Park display gathered on a field near the Presser Arts Center.
At the display at Optimist Park, Jon Hill and Brandon Bayless of AM Pyrotechnics of Buffalo, Missouri, set up their fireworks hours ahead of fireworks show, and a DJ played music in the time before the show at Tyronn Lue Park.
