The Centralia football program had its fair share of work during July. The Panthers appeared outside for several days during the hot month to practice and occasionally participate in 7-on-7 scrimmage games. During Centralia's practice on July 29, the Panthers gradually worked their way up to helmets and shoulder pads, going with street clothes initially, then pads and finally helmets. They split in several groups so each aspect of the team could run drills and plays. They are coming a 9-2 season, which was the program's best year since 2019 and their fifth straight winning season.
