The Audrain County Democrats met on Monday, July 31, at the Audrain County Historical Society and hosted the Missouri State Party Chairman Russ Carnahan (center standing) and candidate for Lt. Gov. and current state Rep. Richard Brown (third from left standing). Also at the meeting were some local candidates including former Mexico Mayor Ayanna Shivers (standing between Carnahan and Brown) who ran for state senate in 2022 and current candidate for Missouri Congressional District 6 and Audrain County Chairman Erik Richardson (standing on the right of Carnahan). Carnahan was elected to the state party chairmanship in March.
