Donna M. Bonney, 82, of St. Charles, passed away at 4:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fulton. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico.
Visitation is Wednesday from 10a.m. until time of Mass at the church.
Donna was born on July 30, 1942 in Freeburg, Missouri, the daughter of John and Katherine (Koemman) Bock. On September 17, 1960 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fulton, she married Donald A. Bonney. He survives.
Mrs. Bonney had graduated from Fulton High School. She worked at St. Louis Lambert Airport and then at SSM Health Care for 20 years.
Donna was a devoted member of both St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fulton and All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and socializing with others. Known for her outgoing personality, she loved connecting with people and always made others feel at ease.
Survivors include her husband, Donald A. Bonney of the home; three children, Darla Bullock of St. Charles, Dante (Debra) Bonney of Cottleville, and Dianna “Diane” (Tom) Peterson of Winfield; nine grandchildren, Mindy, Amy, Ali, Madison, Nicole, Erica, Danielle, DeAnna, and Dana; 15 great-grandchildren, Austin, Paige, Kaden, Kinsley, Jameson, Joslynn, Harrison, Nolan, Zelda, Zoe, Rose, Clyde, Amos, Prairie, and Nero; and one brother, Frank Bock of Wilmington, Deleware.
Mrs. Bonney was preceded in death by nine siblings.
