Mexico’s seventh and eighth graders recently experienced democracy in action through a mock election. Students took on the roles of voters, navigated the ballot, and got a firsthand look at the voting process—building confidence and understanding for when they head to the polls themselves in a few years. This hands-on experience is one more way we’re preparing them for active, informed citizenship! Thanks to the League of Women’s Voters for their assistance in this annual event.
