Work was approved by the Farber Board of Aldermen at the Community Building. Show Me Property Maintenance will install two hose bibs in the garage. Doors and More will replace the two doors on the building and Community Betterment will work with Show Me Properties to repair the drop ceiling and winterize the exhaust fan.
Lights are being replaced with LEDs by Ameren.
The board passed an ordinance to increase water and sewer rates. The per thousand gallon rate will be bumped up by $1.40 for water. The sewer rate goes up 35 cents. The minimum rate remains the same.
Null Tree Service will be trimming city-owned trees within the next 30 days. Alderman Ruth Williams received permission to check on Tree City regulations. If the city qualifies, the board may decide to enter competition for the designation.
