Our Brother passed away on June 9, 2023. Borne to loving parents, Bud and Becky Williams, on April 12, 1957; they named him Fredric Mark. Known by most as Fred, we, his siblings (Buddy, Cindy, Leslie, Jeff and Kelly), called him Freddy.From birth, Freddy had an infectious smile and a loving charm about him. As a child, he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball, and he had a natural ability with both. Later, as a teenager, you could often find him listening to music, especially his favorite band, “Kiss."He proudly served in the US Army, but it was later that he found his ideal calling working in sales. With his friendly and playful demeanor, whether it was a warm handshake, or simply listening to customers, he had a natural ability to make those around him feel comfortable.Our Brother was a kind person, and we would like to list all the good deeds, but that would be impossible. Freddy kept his kindnesses close to himself, never feeling the need to boast or brag about what he did for others.He had many friends, and he unselfishly chose to befriend those individuals who others might shun, because Freddy always thought thateveryone in life deserved a second chance.At the center of Freddy’s heart were his dogs. Preceding him in death were Annie, Zachary, “Boo”, and Frankie D. His faithful Smiley was by his side until the moment the Dear Lord called Freddy home. Throughout his illness, he said often, “I’m not afraid to die and I can tolerate the pain if, at the end of it all, I know that my Smiley will have a loving home and someone to always care for her." This was truly the essence of our Brother.Freddy meant so much to so many. To us, he was simply our Brother. His passing has saddened us deeply. We love you, Dear Brother, and we willmiss you.A Celebration of Freddy’s life will be held in September.Memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society of Missouri.
