Services for Gerald Rodgers (J.R.) Flowers Jr., 61, of Perry, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 11, at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Perry with Rev. Bob Knight officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Flowers passed away at 4:44 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
J.R. married April Colbert on Sept. 23, 1995, in Mexico and she survives.
Other survivors include one son; Chandler Flowers of Perry, one daughter; Katrina (Collin) Trusty of Vandalia, one sister; Vickie (Ronnie) Rouse of Perry, along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
