Harry Arnold Jones, 90, of Mexico died Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Golden Living Center- Pin Oaks in Mexico.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held 1 p.m Friday, January 10, at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia.
Harry was born on January 20, 1934, in Audrain County, the son of Arnold and Virginia (Beasley) Jones.
Harry was a 1951 Graduate of Centralia High School. He served his country in the United States Army.
On August 30, 1959, Harry married Dolores Jean Anderson, and she preceded him in death on October 10, 1982, Harry then married Velma Joyce Atkins on July 4, 1984, and she preceded him in death on August 25, 2024.
Harry is survived by his children, Jim Jones and wife Tammy of Mexico, Gary (Carol) McFarland of Bradenton, FL, Melissa (Stephen) Willette of Wildwood, Teresa (Robert) Holm of Lake St. Louis; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-n-law, Barbara Jones; niece Jadeania Finck (Chris), nephews, Larry Dorman and Harry (Pam) Dorman; several great-nieces and nephews.
Harry was also preceded in death by his parents, sons, John Jones, and Mark McFarland; siblings, Rosemary Dorman (Lee) and Delano Jones.
Harry worked many years in the agriculture field and was a very hard worker.
He enjoyed food, especially chocolate pie, custard pie and fried catfish. Harry loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and taking trips to the gambling boats.
