Homebank account holders can receive a one-time $25 bonus into a consumer or commercial checking account if at least $150 worth of receipts for purchases made Sept. 1 through Oct. 31 at Mexico chamber member businesses are presented at the bank. A list of those businesses is available at https://mexico-chamber.org/chamber-members/. The bonus offer expires Nov. 30.
“This is still a difficult time and we want to encourage all area residents to support our local business community,” Homebank Community Bank President Mary Dickey said. “Local companies provide jobs, they make our community unique and they create choice for consumers.”
The bonus can be applied to existing or new accounts. The minimum new consumer checking account deposit is $50, while the minimum to establish a new commercial account is $100. The offer is only valid at the Mexico Hombank branch.
The branch is located at 2977 S. Clark St. Lobby hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays. More information is available by calling 573-975-8005.
