Jack A. Hargis, 90, Centralia, passed away Wed., Feb. 14, at the Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Centralia.. He was born Aug. 23, 1933, in St. Louis, MO the son of the late John Edward Hargis and Lucinda (Sneed) Hargis. On July 14, 1956, he was united in marriage to Caroline (Lahay) Hargis.
He is survived by his wife Caroline of 67 years; one daughter Christina Mollmon of Lona, Okla.; one sister Dorothy Null of St. Louis; and one grandson. In addition to his parents, one brother Robert Hargis and one great nephew John Edward Hargis preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Sun., Feb. 25, at the Chapel Grove Cemetery near Clark. Visitation will be from 12 until 1 p.m. on Sun., Feb. 25, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia.
