Real estate is hot and that bodes well for Mexico native, Ashley Kendrick, whose business, Simply Real Estate, is now open for business. Kendrick has worked in real estate since 2018 and recalls how she entered the industry.
“ My mother-in-law asked me if I wanted to get my real estate license and sell her mother's house in Paris, Mo.,” Kendrick says. “I hopped on the opportunity by taking online real estate classes and passing my state and national exam. Since then, I have continued to double the number of houses sold.”
Kendrick worked for Mexico’s Century 21 office and says the decision to strike out on her own was a tough one, but she felt it was time.
“I realized I was growing more of a boutique clientele that focused on staging and home improvement,” she said. “I needed a space that would allow me to have samples of paint, decor, wallpaper, and furniture for my clients to see in person.”
Simply Real Estate emerges on the market as housing is a hot commodity. It remains a seller’s market, with low inventory.
“I want Simply Real Estate to stand apart with a high level of respect,” Kendrick said. “I'm looking for team members that have an eye for design and desire to make a house into a home.”
Kendrick was born and raised in Mexico. She and her husband, son, and daughter live on a farm north of Mexico where they built a home seven years ago.
Simply Real Estate is located at 508 S. Muldrow St, Mexico. They are also on Facebook, or simplyrealestatemo.com.
