Laddonia City Clerk, Mary Woolfolk passed away last week at the age of 37 after a battle with Cancer.

Her past and current coworkers and colleagues at the Laddonia City Hall remember her fondly.

Austin Layman former Maintenance Supervisor for the City of Laddonia said "I worked with Mary for almost a year. She made work easy and we were great friends the whole time. She did a great job and was nice to everyone."

Laddonia Mayor Gary Garnett said "We was lucky to have Mary as a clerk. She did her job professionally and with pride. She will be missed by the citizens of Laddonia. Prayers for her family."

Laddonia Alderwoman Juanita Cope says "Mary worked all throughout her battle with Cancer and even through dialysis."

The City of Laddonia posted on their Facebook page that Mary always took time out of her day, no matter how she was feeling, to check on those she knew were having a hard time. She was an incredible employee, mother and friend. We will all miss her more than words can express.

A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held Saturday, October 29, at KB Event Center, 14813 Audrain Road 823, Mexico. Visitation will be from 4-5pm at the event center.

Mary's mom is also planning a Celebration of Life for Saturday, November 5, at an area church in Mexico that will be announced soon.
