The North Callaway girls played a solid game Friday night against Winfield in the third-place game of the Bowling Green Tournament but were outplayed in the closing minutes to just lose 43-42. A free throw ended up being the difference in the game.
Natalie Shryock followed her five 3-pointers on Wednesday with four on Friday, finishing with 15 points to lead the Ladybirds. Abrielle Burgher followed with 12 points, and Ellie Bedsworth pulled down nine rebounds.
