Mexico had its seniors perform on their home mats on Monday.
In the fifth annual Brick City Classic, Alexus Johns and Abby Bowen finished first at 140 pounds and 235, respectively, to be among the seven medalists for the Mexico girls and Johns picked up her 150th career win and 100th career pinfall during the event. Centralia had four medalists, including Avery Adams at 100 pounds and Kyleigh Dollens at 145B in first and Avery Griggs in second at 110 and Analeigh Bruce in third at 115 to be in the top three to medal. For North Callaway, Brooke Giboney finished first at 105 pounds, Lotus Gwaltney was third at 130B and Elka Endres was third at 140.
Mexico also had medalists Lilly Cuno at 100B, Lehua Grantz at 110B and Makiya Workes at 135, who each finished first while Erika Pech at 145B and Cassius Williams at 170 extra each were second.
