Larry D. Prater, 64, Columbia, Mo., passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia. Funeral services were held Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia. Interment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Centralia. Visitation was held prior to the service.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Jeannie Prater-Schade of Wichita, KS, James Prater-Schade of Mexico, and Lucy Mitchell of Columbia; his mother Betty Schade of Columbia; his sister Roxy Cohen and her husband J.B. of Columbia; one grandchild; three nephews; his fiancé Claire Carter of Columbia, MO; other relatives and many dear friends.
