Lori Lynn Christopher, 51, of Fulton, died Friday, July 1, 2022, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday July 7, at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Laddonia.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home with burial services at Laddonia Cemetery following.

Lori was born July 19, 1970 in Mexico., the daughter of Phillip and Linda (Shouse) Christopher. She grew up on the family’s farm outside of Laddonia., and graduated from Community R-6 High School.

Lori earned a degree in anthropology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She worked for the Rural Policy Research Institute and later as a surgical technician.

Lori will be remembered for her singular sense of humor and her gift for using it to bring joy to those around her. She had a special connection to the friends she made throughout childhood, college and her workplaces.

Lori believed in lifelong learning, which was made clear by her skills in playing Jeopardy! She was first picked when her friends organized a trivia team.

Lori’s heart led her to creative pastimes. She loved music. She played guitar, banjo, piano and mandolin. She was a passionate pet lover of Bender, Jo-Jo, Flower, and Gary Johnson.

Lori loved her family above all else, involving herself in the upbringing of her beloved niece and nephew and dedicating herself to taking care of her parents.

She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip; mother, Linda; brother, Aaron Brent; sister, Amy Lynn Crowe.

Lori is survived by her nephew Dagan Aaron Crowe of Fulton and niece Elsa Lynn Crowe of Moscow Mills.

Pallbearers will be Dagan Crowe, John Shouse, Richard Frazier, Steve Schulte, Steve Fairchild and Scott Vomund Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Shouse, Bill Foristal, Brian Shouse, Brendan Shouse, Dwight Taylor, and Troy Wieberg.
