Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort - Mark Twain Lake Missouri will host a grand opening Saturday, May 22, offering a sneak peak of The Water Zone waterpark, face painting and a balloon artist. A long-standing area attraction, the former Mark Twain Landing Water Park will bear - pun intended - the Yogi Bear brand and in 2021 promises a host of upgrades which will enhance the visitor experience.
It was announced in December that Houston-based The Jenkins Organization acquired Mark Twain Landing in Monroe City, marking the fifth RV park acquisition for TJO as they continue to grow in the campground industry.
These improvements include water park renovation, adding cabanas to the water park area, addition of a dog park, patio sites and dog pens, upgraded Wifi, golf cart rentals, gaga ball pit, human foosball, new jumping pillow, Water Wars, Lazer Tag, apple cannons, bumper boats, and numerous other physical facility upgrades.
The park will be a family-friendly park geared towards short-term vacation campers. It is located at 42819 Landing Lane, Monroe City. For more information, see the ad in today’s Ledger and visit them online at marktwainlakejellystone.com.
