Martha Josephine Conley, age 72, of Santa Fe, Mo., passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Monroe Manor in Paris.

Martha was born on December 5, 1950, in Moberly, the daughter of Leo G and Marie Arzelia Bentley Burlage. She married Ronald Wayne Conley on September 15, 1979, in Moberly.

She attended high school at Cairo, and later attended Moberly Area Community College earning an Associate’s Degree in Business and Office Technology.

Martha worked for Southwestern Bell in Moberly for 16 years, Oliver Transportation in Mexico for 6 years and finally the Monroe County Water District for 21 years. At retirement she had over 40 years of office/clerical experience.

She was a member of the Santa Fe Christian Church, the Gleason Homemakers Club and the Santa Fe Sociable Club.

She is survived by her husband Wayne, her two children Amy and Jeff Stuck of Northglenn, Colo., and Matthew and Arisa Winkler of Madison, and two grandchildren, Ian Shippers and Zane Winkler. Also surviving are four brothers James Burlage, Moberly, Charles Burlage, Lawrence (Kay) Burlage, and Robert (Tonja) Burlage all of Huntsville; and one sister Mary Burlage Blonski of Weston, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents, a Sister-in-Law Olga Mae Burlage and a Brother-in-Law Jim Blonski.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tues., Oct. 17, at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris, with Pastor Bruce Guile officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Mon., Oct. 16, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris.
