“She is a hard worker, and we are very proud of her,” head coach Tony Senor said.

Alexus Johns pinned three opponents to finish first at 235A; former state medalist Katie Bowen finished 3-2 to take second at 115A, including two 8-2 decision victories and a 7-4 win; and Abby Bowen finished 3-1 to take second at 135A with three pinfall wins and an 8-0 major decision loss in the fifth and final round.

“(Katie Bowen) is starting to get back into fight shape to make one final push at the MSHSAA state tournament,” Senor said.
