Mexico, Centralia and North Callaway competed in district track and field at North Point High School in Wenztville on Saturday. Through two weather delays (one stretch of time that brought golf-ball-sized hail), Mexico participated in the Class 4 District 4 meet while Centralia and North Callaway were in the Class 3 District 4 meet. The top four in each event advanced to sectionals next Saturday at Mexico. Results are incomplete as the rest of the field events are scheduled to be run at 10 a.m. on Monday at Montgomery County.

Centralia girls 1st in team standings with 152 points (Palmyra 115.5) as of Saturday. Lady Panthers have won district titles in each of last two years. Boys 2nd with 88 points behind Bowling Green's 134 points to earn a team trophy.
